March 28, 2011: 03:29 AM EST
Spanish-language media company Telemundo has launched its official online telenovela fan club in partnership with L’Oreal USA. According to Telemundo, Club de Noveleras will provide an online meeting place where fans can interact with each other, keep up with Telemundo novela TV stars and stay up to date on the various events sponsored in local communities in the U.S. At the events, members can meet telenovela stars, get hair and make-up touch ups with L’Oreal products such as Maybelline and Garnier, and get free product samples. “This integrated program transforms viewership into relationship while connecting L’Oreal USA’s brands to their target consumers,” said Jacqueline Hernández, chief operating officer, Telemundo.
